Church Beliefs
Our church is part of Korean Methodist Church based in South Korea. We follow closely to the core beliefs of John Wesley including, personal faith in Christ, salvation by grace and sanctification.

History of KMC 한인 감리교회의 역사
The Korean Methodist Church (KMC) is a major, independent Protestant denomination in South Korea with approximately 1.5 million members, established through American missionary work in the late 19th century.

Methodist missionaries arrived in Korea in 1885, establishing schools, hospitals, and churches. The church gained autonomy in 1930, with full Korean leadership, and survived the Japanese occupation and Korean War.

The KMC is affiliated with the World Council of Churches and maintains ties with The United Methodist Church (UMC).

The church has been a vital force in Korean society, adapting to rapid urbanization and engaging in evangelical efforts, including movements aimed at North Korea.

기독교대한감리회(KMC)는 19세기 말 미국 선교사들의 활동을 통해 설립된, 약 150만 명의 교인을 보유한 대한민국 내 주요 독립 개신교 교단입니다.
